SILVIS, Ill. – Oklahoma City finished the first round of the NAIA Men's Golf Championship in third place at 10 over par on Tuesday.

Carter Ray led the Stars in the first round with a two-under-par 68 with birdies on the fifth, 10
th, 15
th and 17
th holes and ended Round One in a tie for first place.

Christian Yanovitch was one over par at 71 with birdies on holes three, 10, 14 and 15. He's tied for 13
th on the player leaderboard.

Lorenzo Santinelli was five over for the first round at 75 and in 65
th place.

Jack Newton and
Cameron Bozyk tied for 78
th at six over par at 76 each. Newton had birdies on five and 11 while Bozyk had one on the third hole.

The Stars tee off for the second round, starting at 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday.

Science & Arts of Oklahoma leads the field at one over and Hastings is second at eight over par.
