OKLAHOMA CITY – Tenth-ranked Oklahoma City University women's golf wraps up the fall season Monday and Tuesday at USAO's Battle at Winter Creek in Blanchard.

The Tournament is played at the Winter Creek Golf and Social Club in Blanchard, with 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.

All Stars on Deck: The proximity of the tournament affords OCU the opportunity to bring out a larger-than-usual squad.

The Field: The field includes seven NAIA teams and three junior college squads. Joining OCU and host USAO are fifth-ranked Texas Wesleyan, NAIA poll vote-getter Our Lady of the Lake, Central Christian, Southwestern Christian and University of the Southwest as four-year opponents. Seminole State, Blinn and Redlands also are competing.

Logan Allen andÂ
Taylor Tevis buried birdie putts on the first hole of a playoff to give 10th-ranked Oklahoma City and victory over No. 5 Texas Wesleyan at the Battling in the Desert Tournament. Allen won the individual title at one over par with rounds of 75, 68 and 74. She had birdies on holes six, 13 and 16 on Tuesday to bring her total to 12.Â
Klaudie Karnikova took fourth to make the All-Tournament team at seven over par with rounds of 74, 73 and 76. Her final-round birdies on 16 and 17 brought her tournament total to eight. Tevis tied for 10th, going 78-76-74 for 12 over par. She had birdies on holes seven, 13 and 17 on Tuesday to bring her total to nine.
Beatriz Pinheiro birdied the 16th and 18th holes on Tuesday and finished 13th after rounds of 73, 74 and 83. She ended the week with 10 birdies.Â
Paula Ortiz was 21st at 21 over par after a round 83 on Tuesday, which included a birdie on the fourth hole. She ended up with four birdies for the tournament. The Stars finished the final 18 holes of regulation at 19 over par for the day and 33 over for the tournament. Â

Winter Creek Golf and Social Club features Champion Bermuda greens and oak trees.

Last Season in Blanchard: Texas Wesleyan claimed the title last season. OCU was second.
Logan Allen missed the top position by just one stroke after finishing six over par for the tournament, behind Makena Junkin from Texas Wesleyan.
Klaudie Karnikova put together her best tournament of the fall slate, finishing 15 over par for an 11th-place finish.Â
Carrie Bowers concluded the Stars lineup, finishing 32nd overall at +52 for the tournament.Â
