OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City women's golf team edge out Texas Wesleyan by five strokes to take the crown at the Kyle Blaser Invitational on Monday.
OCU trailed Texas Wesleyan by two strokes after 18 holes before a big surge in round two being 13 strokes better in the second round with a 301.
For the straight year
Maddi Kamas was crowned champion at the Kyle Blaser Invitational giving Kamas her second win of the 2024 slate. Kamas shot just one over par in round two beating out Oklahoma's Kaylee Vesely by just one stroke for the win.
Paige Wood started the first 18 with an 81 until she hit her stride with an even par performance in round two.
