OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University freshman Reagan Chaney has been named Sooner Athletic Conference women's golfer of the week for the fourth time for the 2021-22 season after notching a first place finish at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic, played last Monday and Tuesday at Lincoln Park Golf Course.
 
Chaney sank six birdies and an eagle in the race to a 67-74=143 finish. That was good for a one shot win over two opponents and helped the No. 1 ranked Stars win by 15 strokes over second place and No. 6 ranked Southeastern (Fla.).
 
OCU now has seven first place finishes for the fall and spring seasons, the most victories in a season since 2006-07. Chaney ranks sixth in the latest Golfstat individual rankings with a 73.77 adjusted scoring average and 13-0 record against top-50 opponents.
