OCU's Perkins prevails in 200 in Thresher Invitational

Antravius Perkins picked up his first career win in the 200 meters Saturday.

WICHITA, Kan. – Antravius Perkins topped Oklahoma City University with a victory in the 200 meters in the Bethel Thresher Invitational men's track & field meet Saturday at the Heskett Center.
Perkins, a senior from Fort Myers, Fla., recorded a fourth-place finish in the 60 meters.
In the 200, Perkins posted the winning time of 22.44 seconds. Perkins' mark in the 60 was 6.94 seconds.
Jordan Iwuchukwu of the Stars improved his distance in the shot put. Iwuchukwu had a season-best throw of 40 feet, 5½ inches (12.33 meters).
