OKLAHOMA CITY – Ten-time national champion Oklahoma City University hosts its seven-week winter hitting camp Oct. 24-Dec. 7 at Ann Lacy Stadium for youth ages 8-18.

Bobbi Bridges provides the instruction. In Bridges' 18 years coaching with the Stars, she has contributed to three national championships and two national runner-up finishes.
Bridges is entering her 19th season assisting OCU coach
Phil McSpadden. She has been named NAIA assistant coach of the year by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association during her time with the Stars. Oklahoma City finished second in batting average (.367), seventh in stolen bases (112), 13th in hits per game (9.72) and 16th in hits (486) in 2021. OCU owns national titles won in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, '01, '02, '07, '16 and '17.
Entry into the camp costs $275. Participants should wear softball pants or shorts, turf or tennis shoes and bring their own softball bat. The deadline to register will be Oct. 16. For information about the camp, contact Bridges at (405) 208-5976 or e-mail

The seven-week program is comprised of one 90-minute session each week. Once players have signed up for a session, they will come the same day and time every week for the seven weeks. There will be no switching of camp sessions during the camp. Each session will contain up to 12 participants.
The camp offers four time slots. Sunday camp sessions will be 3-4:30 p.m. and 4:30-6 p.m., and Thursday sessions will be from 6-7:30 p.m. and 7:30-9 p.m.
