OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City wraps up the regular season this week with a Tuesday trip to Langston for two games before a final homestand with Southwestern Christian for four games this weekend.
 
The Stars play two at Langston at 4 p.m. SCU visits Friday for a 2 p.m. doubleheader before winding down the regular season with a doubleheader at noon on Sunday.
 
OCU Notebook
Previously: OCU batted .202 and committed nine errors against USAO in Chickasha over the weekend for a .906 fielding percentage. The Stars allowed 19 unearned runs in the series.
 
SAC Standings: The Stars (37-7, 26-4) will finish the regular season at no worse than second place in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings. OCU can only win the SAC outright if Mid-America Christian takes at least three games from USAO in Chickasha this weekend. Langston (14-22, 9-21) is locked in a three-team battle with Nelson and Central Christian for the final two postseason berths. LU finishes the season at Central Christian. Southwestern Christian (27-15, 18-14) has clinched a playoff berth and comes into the series in a tie for third place in the SAC with Texas Wesleyan and MACU.
 
Stars on the Road: The Stars are 10-4 on the road with a .434 batting average and 2.18 earned run average. Tara Hoehner is hitting .560 with four home runs and 17 RBIs and Analise Rayburn is hitting .532 on the road with three home runs and a team-best 23 RBIs. Peyton Barrow has a .528 average away from home.
 
Stars at Home: OCU is 17-1 at home this season and has won the last 16 home games. The Stars are hitting .418 with a 1.72 earned run average. Tara Hoehner leads the offense at .519, followed by Hadley Gibson at .500, Kaiden Spidell at .500 and Analise Rayburn at .467 with 11 home runs and 33 RBIs. Brynlee Alsip is 10-0 with a 1.12 ERA and McKenna Snyder has a 1.62 ERA at home.
 
Against the SAC: OCU is 26-4 in the SAC this season, carrying a .435 batting average and a 1.90 ERA in those 30 games. Brynlee Alsip is 16-2 with a 1.13 ERA in the league. Tara Hoehner is hitting .553 with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs, while Analise Rayburn checks in at .535 with 14 homers and 56 RBIs.
 
Hitting: This season, the Stars are hitting .404 as a team and averaging 8.7 runs per game. OCU leads the NAIA in batting average and slugging percentage (.651).  Tara Hoehner leads OCU with a .489 batting average, followed by Hadley Gibson and Analise Rayburn at .467. Rayburn leads the team with 20 home runs and 84 RBIs while Hoehner has 13 home runs and 53 RBIs. Rayburn leads the NAIA in home runs and RBIs. Hoehner is seventh nationally in home runs and 10^th in RBIs.
 
Pitching: OCU has a 1.85 team earned run average with 160 strikeouts in 265 innings. Brynlee Alsip has a 1.09 ERA and holds opponents to a .213 batting average. Alsip is tied for first in the NAIA in wins and is seventh in ERA. McKenna Snyder (2-1, 2.13 ERA) and Morgandee Sawatzky (7-1, 3.14) have been OCU's game two starters this season. The Stars are 10^th nationally in team ERA.
 
On the Bases: OCU has stolen 103 bases in 112 attempts. Hadley Gibson leads the team with 23 in 24 tries. Gabby Moreno is 19 of 19.
 
Scouting Langston: Langston went 2-2 against Wayland Baptist last weekend. Asharah Thibodeaux leads the team with a .404 batting average and 30 RBIs. The team is hitting .298 with 15 home runs. The Lions have a team ERA of 7.00, led by Lilly Ritter at 4.58.
 
About SCU: The Eagles took three of four from Nelson at SCU over the weekend. Southwestern Christian is batting .344, led by Hannah Keele at .521. Trinity Norwood is hitting .442 with nine home runs and 43 RBIs. Lainey King leads the pitching staff with an 8-2 record and a 3.20 earned run average. SCU sports a 4.03 team ERA.
