Three from OCU make USTFCCCA all-academic list

McNeill rakes in third all-academic honor

NEW ORLEANS – Max McNeill became a three-time U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association all-academic honoree to highlight three Oklahoma City University men's track & field recipients.
The Stars' Kipruto Cherutich and Ian Thomas snatched USTFCCCA all-academic acclaim. Oklahoma City earned an all-academic team accolade for its 3.06 combined grade-point average.
Track & field student-athletes picked up USTFCCCA all-academic nods by achieving a cumulative 3.25 or better GPA and producing either A standard or B standard qualifying marks for the NAIA Championships. Squads became USTFCCCA all-academic teams by maintaining a 3.0 or better GPA.
The USTFCCCA honored 134 student-athletes and 43 teams throughout NAIA men's track & field as all-academic.
