FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Max McNeill of Oklahoma City University took second in the men's mile at the Arkansas Qualifiers on Saturday, finishing the race in four minutes and 22.40 seconds.
Also notching a top-five finish for the Stars was Joseph Engel, a freshman from Oklahoma City. Engel took fourth in the men's 1,000-meter race with a final time of 4:40.61.
Ilijah Coleman, a junior from Pine Ridge, S.D., took fifth in the 800-meter with a 1:57.09, while Cabe Killingsworth, a sophomore from Tulsa, Okla., finished ninth with a 2:02.59.
The Stars run next in the NAIA indoor track and field championships on Feb. 28-March 2 in Brookings, S.D.
