2012: Played in 29 games and made 24 starts at catcher during his rookie season... Hit .293 with five doubles, a home run and 14 RBIs ... Made his collegiate debut versus Ohio State (2/24) -- no at bats -- and earned first career start at catcher in the OSU series finale (2/26)... Walked in his first career plate appearance, then delivered a three-run double off the left-field wall at Russ Chandler Stadium in third inning and walked again later in the game as Tech beat Ohio State 13-4 (2/26)... In the win over Rutgers (3/2), went 2-for-3 with an RBI single, a sac fly and a two-RBI double for a career-best four-RBI game... Had a career-best three hits vs. Georgia Southern (3/28) and scored in the 10-5 win... Had a two-RBI single and scored in an 8-0 win over Duke (3/31)... Had two hits and scored in the Kennesaw State win (4/3)... Matched his career high with three hits in the Mercer win (4/10)... Singled and registered his first career stolen base vs. Georgia at Turner Field (4/24)...
