OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City won its ninth consecutive game, extending its record-breaking start, by defeating Southwestern Christian in three sets, 25-18, 25-17, 25-17.

The Stars and Eagles were tied early in all three sets with a total of 24 ties and 10 lead changes, but the Stars were able to get separation each time.

Kacie Townsend led OCU with a dozen kills, with
Amber Jones adding nine.
Natalie Adams had 16 assists and
Rylie Steward added 15.

Joeci Hunt led the Stars with 14 digs, followed by
Kate Cleofe with 12 and Steward with 10.

Maddie Edwards and Townsend were in on two blocks each.

The Stars, now 9-0 overall and 3-0 in the SAC, host two more conference matches this weekend, with Central Christian visiting at 6 p.m. on Friday and Langston at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
