OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City moved to 4-0 on the season with a 3-1 victory over Bellevue in a battle of unbeaten teams on Monday.

The Stars struck first when
Ali Daugherty clipped the ball away from the BU keeper and set up a big opportunity for
Amelia Horsford, who scored easily in the 18
th minute.

Mayerli Huaraca took the ball away from the Stars near midfield and scored to level the game at 1-1 in the 41
st minute and send the match to halftime all level.

Kyrie Soto used a feed from
Reese Roberts to score the go-ahead goal for the Stars in the 49
th minute and OCU took a 3-1 lead on an own goal in the 57
th minute.

Prescilla Casu scored on a penalty kick for the Bruins for the final margin.

OCU had 10 shots in the game and tested the Bellevue keeper eight times. Horsford and
Kayleigh Haygood each had two shots on goal.

Candela Blanco got the win in goal with three saves.

The Stars hit the road for the next two games, visiting LSU-Shreveport on Thursday and LSU-Alexandria on Saturday. Both games are 1 p.m. starts.
