OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City puts its perfect record to the test and opens the Sooner Athletic Conference schedule this weekend with trips to John Brown on Friday at 6 p.m. and College of the Ozarks at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

OCU won four matches in the Stars Invitational and two more in Kansas Wesleyan's tournament for a school-record six wins to open the season.
 
Through those six matches, Grace Smallwood leads the Stars and is second in the Sooner Athletic Conference with 3.55 kills per set and third in the SAC with 4.75 digs per set. Natalie Adams leads the Sooner Athletic Conference with 10.59 assists per set.
 
John Brown is 4-4 this season after a pair of wins Saturday over Friends and Health Sciences and Pharmacy. Olivia Tucker leads the Gold Eagles with 2.4 kills per set. Mia Bowman averages 4.53 digs per set.
 
The Bobcats are 3-1 after Saturday wins over Williams Baptist and Missouri Valley. Anna Brunner averages 2.41 kills and 1.06 blocks per set to lead Ozarks. Emma Godwin averages 3.76 digs per set.
 
The Stars split the series with both teams last season.
