ROCKY FACE, Ga. – Oklahoma City is second after two rounds of the Roadrunner Classic and
Cameron Bozyk leads the field by two strokes.
Bozyk knocked down three eagles on the first day. In the first round he eagled the par-four, 388-yard 10
th hole. In the second round, he eagled the par-four, 403-yard sixth hole and took down hole 12, a par-five 498-yarder in three strokes. Bozyk also birdied holes one, two, three and seven in the first round and 10, 13, 14 and 16 in the second. He shot back-t0-back 69s to sit at six under par.
Carter Ray is 15
th with rounds of 74 and 72. He had birdies on the first, 10
th and 12
th holes in the first round and sixth, 10
th and 12
th in the second. He is two over par.
Simon Jansson and
Jack Newton are tied at three over in 20
th place. Jansson shot a 78 in the first round but rebounded nicely with a 69 in the second. He birdied the first hole in both rounds and two and 12 in the first along with three, 14, 15 and 16 in the second. Newton went 76-71 with birdies on one, seven, 12 and 15 in the first round along with two, seven, 15, 17 and 18 in the second.
Christian Yanovitch is 40
th at 14 over, shooting 76 and 82. He birdied the16th hole in the first round and the first hole in the second.
OCU is at even par through two rounds and trails host Dalton State by three strokes heading into Tuesday's final 18 holes.
