OKLAHOMA CITY – Second-ranked Oklahoma City University men's golf finishes off its fall season next week at USAO's Battle at Winter Creek.

The Tournament is played at the Winter Creek Golf and Social Club in Blanchard, with 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.

The Field: The field includes seven NAIA teams and Seminole State. Three NAIA Top-25 times teams are in the field, along with vote-getter Southwestern Christian. Texas Wesleyan is ranked eighth and USAO is 23
rd. Also in the field with the No. 2 Stars are Central Christian, Our Lady of the Lake and the University of the Southwest.

Previously: Second-ranked Oklahoma City won the Battle in the Desert with the only under-par final round on Tuesday. OCU was locked in a battle with No. 8 Texas Wesleyan for half the day but pulled away late for a nine-stroke win. All five Stars in the team group were in the top eight.
Lorenzo Santinelli tied for first at eight under par after shooting two under on the final day. His rounds of 68, 70 and 70 were enough to tie Texas Wesleyan's Brady Meek. Meek won the individual title in a playoff. Both were also tied after the second round on Monday. Santinelli birdied holes four, five, 14 and 17 on Tuesday to bring his tournament total to 16 birdies.
Christian Yanovitch and
Carter Ray tied for third at three under. Yanovitch had rounds of 68, 73 and 72 while Ray shot a steady 71 in every round. Yanovitch had birdies on holes 12, 14 and 16 on Tuesday to bring his tournament total to 15. Ray was one-under on holes four, five, seven, 16 and 18 on Tuesday and he finished with 12 birdies.
Simon Jansson tied for sixth at one under par, going 70-74-71. His final-round birdies on holes two, four, nine, 10 and 18 brought his tournament total to 13.
Philipp Perzl tied for eighth at even par with rounds of 71, 74 and 71. He birdied holes four, 14 and 16 on Tuesday for a tournament total of 10. Playing as an individual,
Luke Woods was 47th at plus 14 on rounds of 79, 76 and 75. He birdied the 11th and 18th holes on Tuesday and ended the tournament with nine birdies.

Winter Creek Golf and Social Club features Champion Bermuda greens and oak trees.

Last Season in Blanchard: USAO won the event last season with the Stars getting second.
Tres Hill took first overall among the players.Â
Carter Ray was the second Stars to finish in the top 10, coming in fifth place at +2. Ray put together his best score in round two with a 68, tying his best 18-hole score of the season.
Jack Newton finished tied for 12th at five over par. Newton started with a 77 in the opening round before bouncing back strong with his best score of a 70 in round two. Phillipp Perzl put together his best round in the final 18 holes on Tuesday with a 73 as Perzl came in 18th overall at +9 for the tournament.

JJ Grimm each saw their best scores of a 73 come in round two as Santinelli finished 21st overall at +12 while Grimm slotted in 25th at +15.Â
Luke Woods rounded out the Stars lineup in 36th place after back-to-back rounds of an 80 with the final 18 being an 82, finishing at 26 over par. Â
