BETHANY, Okla. - The Oklahoma City women's cross country team started its season with a win at Eldon Lyon Park in the SNU Invitational.
Oklahoma City had three runners finish in the top 10 out of the pool of 30 total for Saturday's meet.
Kamryn Boller came in as the top runner for OCU finishing fourth overall with a two mile tim of12:50.45.
Ginger Macinnis-Pierce came in seventh with a time of 13:22.69 while Makenzi DeHart followed up in eighth place at time of 13:23.68.
Three more Stars ended up making it in the top 20 including Madeline Adams,
Emily Schneider ad
Channey Guzman. Adams finished 11th overall at 13:35.77 while Schneider had a time of 13:46.19.
Guzman rounded out the top 20 finishers for OCU in 16th place with a time of 14:00.17.
Amerie Manzo wrapped up the competition for Oklahoma City finishing 24th with a time of 14:26.44.

OCU beat out four other teams sprinting past second place Southern Nazarene by nine seconds holding and average time of 13:23.75.
Behind SNU was East Central in third followed SWOSU in fourth and finally Mid-America Christian who finished fifth.
OCU will get back to competition on Sept. 27 in the Gans Creek Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.
