OKLAHOMA CITY -
David Imbert of the OCU men's soccer team has been awarded the Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season and second week in a row.
David Imbert wrapped up his final regular season game at Brian Harvey Field in highlight fashion as the senior from France posted his second hat trick of the season after doing so against Our Lady of the Lake back on Aug. 29.
Imbert came away with three goals and one assist on Saturday in the 6-0 over Science & Arts while notching his third game of the season with multiple goals and his fourth contest where he has scored and assisted in the same match.
Imbert now has 11 goals on the year, ranking second on the team behind
Marco Alongi and sits tied with
Thomas Brulay for first in assists with 10.
The senior has garners the awards for the second straight week and the third time this season. Imbert now ties with USAO's Angel Diaz most Player of the Week selections this season.
