How it Happened
Oklahoma City wasted very little time before scoring as a corner kick from
David Imbert came in right to
Henrique Duarte who sent it right in goal to take a 1-0 lead just one minute into the contest. OCU had just two shots on-goal in the second half both coming in the final 10 minutes as the attempt from
Hannan Ashraf in the 82nd minute went in to extend the Stars lead to 2-0. Nelson outshot Oklahoma City in the second half and found the back of the net with three minutes to go cutting the lead in half with little time to spare. Neither side could get off another shot attempt before time expired allowing OCU to hold on to earn the 2-1 victory on Tuesday night.
