COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS – The Oklahoma City women's cross-country team finished with a 13th place bid in the Texas A&M Invitational over the weekend.
OCU had two finishers come in the top 75 out of 118 runners in the 5k event. OCU's top runner Ginger Macinnis-Pierce finished with a time of 19:40.0 and coming out as the SAC women's runner of the week. Behind Macinnis-Pierce for Oklahoma City in 74th place was senior Cailen Jolley with a time of 19:55.5.
OCU Individual Results (5K)
Oklahoma City was the only NAIA school running in the Invitational sitting in a group with all division one schools besides Oklahoma Baptist. The Stars finished in 13th out of 14 teams beating out Baylor with a total time of 1:41:34.77 and an average time of 20:18.96. Texas A&M took the crown at its own home meet finishing with a total time of 1:28:24.46 and an average time of 17:40.90 coming in three minutes ahead of second place Dallas Baptist.
