COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS – The Oklahoma City men's cross-country team competed in its second meet of the season over the weekend in the Texas A&M Invitational where the Stars finished 10th out of 13 schools as OCU was the only NAIA representative in the meet.
Two members of the OCU men's team finished in the top 25 out of 134 total runners as
Ayenew Devany finished as the top Star running the 8K race in 24.59.0 coming in 21st. Two spots behind Devany coming in 23rd overall was
David Boulanger. Boulanger, a sophomore from Oklahoma City finished with a time of 25:00.7.
OCU Individual Results (8K)
Oklahoma City competed as the only NAIA school in the Texas A&M Invitational in the mix with 11 division one schools with Oklahoma Baptist being the only D2 school. The host team Texas A&M emerged as the winner with a total time of 2:02:05.58 with an average time of 24:25.12. Oklahoma City came in 10th out of the group of 13 schools as the Stars ran a time of 2:07:26.95 with an average of 25:29.39.
