YPSILANTI, Mich. – Oklahoma City University turned in a seventh-place showing following preliminary performances in the NAIA competitive dance championships Friday at the George Gervin GameAbove Arena.
Oklahoma City garnered a score of 83.07. The Stars will put on their finals performance at 9:50 a.m. CST (10:50 a.m. EST) Saturday.
Saint Ambrose (Iowa) collected the top score of the preliminaries, while Midland (Neb.) had the No. 2 score. Saint Ambrose will be the last team to perform Saturday at 10:50 a.m. CST (11:50 a.m. EST). The finals begin 9 a.m. CST (10 a.m. EST) with the awards to be handed out 11:30 a.m. CST (12:30 p.m. EST) Saturday.
The prelim scores count 25 percent towards the final standings, while the finals scores will count 75 percent.
