OKLAHOMA CITY – Elaine Witt of Dale, Okla., has joined the Oklahoma City University women's basketball program for 2021-22.

Witt snared all-state acclaim from the Oklahoma Coaches Association, the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association and The Oklahoman after leading Dale to three state tournament appearances, including a Class 2A runner-up finish as a sophomore.

In her career, Witt piled up 1,000 points. Witt produced 8.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.00 steals a contest in 2020-21. Witt topped Class 2A in assists as a junior.

Last season, the Stars went unbeaten during the regular season for the first time since 2002-03. OCU limited opponents to a 34.3 percent field-goal percentage, which ranked eighth in the NAIA.

Oklahoma City has captured nine national titles in 1988, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2017.
