PARK CITY, Kan. – Oklahoma City University boasts of four all-Americans on its men's wrestling roster in its push for acclaim in 2021-22.
The Stars, ranked 11th in the NAIA, start the season 9 a.m. Saturday in the Friends Falcon Invitational at Hartman Arena, which has been the site of the NAIA Championships the past two years.

Easton Rendleman took all-American acclaim with an eighth-place showing at 197 pounds in the NAIA Championships.
Rendleman, a senior from Choctaw, Okla., earned his third national-tournament bid by collecting the 197-pound conference title. He put together a 5-3 mark with two pins last season, bringing his career record to 38-21.

TOP RETURNERS
•
Chase Vincent is a two-time all-American and became OCU's seventh national finalist with a runner-up showing at 174 pounds as a junior. Vincent, a senior from Yukon, Okla., took second place at 184 pounds in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference-Sooner Athletic Conference Championships to reach the league finals for the fourth time. Vincent has a career mark of 67-26

Jon McGowan, a senior from Hulbert, Okla., rolled to four falls, the most in the tournament, to finish third place at 149 pounds in the conference tournament. McGowan earned an all-American accolade at 157 pounds as a sophomore

Connor Holman took the 165-pound championship in the KCAC-SAC Championships. Holman, a senior from Choctaw, Okla., became a 141-pound all-American as a sophomore

Drake Vannoy, a sophomore from Jenks, Okla., hauled in the 157-pound league title in his college debut
•
Jaxen Gilmore, a senior from Yukon, Okla., reached the NAIA Championships for the second time in his career last season after nabbing runner-up at 141 pounds in the conference meet
NEW FACES
•
Jack Kitchingham came to OCU after capturing a state championship. Kitchingham, a freshman from Mustang, Okla., earned the 220-pound Class 6A state title last year. Kitchingham, who went 31-4 as a senior, notched two falls on the way to the state crown

Kolbe Madron joined the Stars after becoming an Oklahoma Coaches Association all-stater. Madron, a freshman from Sulphur, Okla., took fourth place at 152 pounds in the Class 3A state tournament as a senior and third as a junior during his prep career

Keegan Luton grabbed third place at 145 pounds in the 6A state tournament. Luton, a freshman from Mustang, Okla., posted a 33-6 mark as a senior

Casey Goss, a freshman from Broken Arrow, Okla., collected fifth place at 132 pounds in the 6A state tournament. He went 26-12 as a senior

• The Stars notched the 11th spot in the preseason NAIA team rankings
• Six OCU individuals were included in the individual national ratings. Rendleman reeled in sixth in the 197-pound ratings, while Vincent took sixth at 184. Holman nabbed seventh in the 149-pound rankings, and McGowan landed at No. 8 at 157. Gilmore holds the 13th spot at 141 pounds, while Vannoy stands 16th at 165
MEET THE COACH
• Ensign guided Central Missouri for 11 years, mentoring 10 national-tournament qualifiers and 17 all-region performers while colliding with some of the nation's top competition
• Ensign directed two-time national champion Frank Cagnina, who captured the 2014 and '15 149-pound NCAA Division II championships and Central Region wrestler of the year
• Central Missouri posted two top-20 national team finishes, including its finest finish (11th) in 2014-15 under Ensign
