Four OCU student-athletes become USTFCCCA all-academic

Halladay-Meth earns second all-academic honor

NEW ORLEANS – Nikole Halladay-Meth reeled in her second U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association all-academic nod as four Oklahoma City University women's track & field student-athletes took the recognition.
Marquania Rowell, Shenelle Tomlinson and Beyel Tubbs rounded out OCU's all-academic award winners. The Stars nabbed an all-academic team honor with their 3.436 combined grade-point average.
The USTFCCCA bestowed all-academic honors on track & field student-athletes who turned in a cumulative 3.25 or better GPA and either A standard or B standard qualifying marks for the NAIA Championships. Squads became USTFCCCA all-academic teams by maintaining a 3.0 or better GPA.
Among NAIA women's track & field, 193 individuals and 57 teams landed all-academic awards from the USTFCCCA.
