OKLAHOMA CITY – Rylie Watson has chosen to compete for Oklahoma City University's women's basketball team in 2019-20.
The 5-foot-8 guard from Jenks, Okla., was named all-state and all-conference last season.
The Tulsa World selected Watson as honorable-mention all-state while Frontier Conference coaches voted her honorable-mention all-conference.
Oklahoma City (33-5) won its 19th Sooner Athletic Conference regular-season title and finished as the national runner-up for the fourth time (2003, 2004, 2005). Montana Western defeated the Stars in the NAIA Division I women's basketball tournament championship.
OCU owns nine national championships won in 1988, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2017.
